From the old school house and railway station to the photo and scaled model replica of the bay's main drag.

While I realised I wasn't so young anymore when showing my 10-year-old son the types of telephones we had as kids from behind museum glass, overall my family had a great day here.

Lots of great artifacts and dedicated volunteers...it is bigger than it looks.

Stepping back in time. Educational, a great place for a family outing.

A great deal of energy and attention to detail has gone in to creating this very interesting journey into the past. We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here.

In fact, my son, who usually prefers the view from in front of his Playstation, was the one who had the best day, being chosen to make a piece of rope on an antique machine, and he got to take it home as a souvenir.

This museum is hyper local, with just about everything on display from and/or about the Fraser Coast Region.
